After finishing up our lunch we took in the rest of the park - in the main area - where there are a number of smaller attractions, including parks, a fossil hunting experience, a theatre and plenty of rides. Our next stop was the miniature farm where we were able to get up close with a number of farmyard animals, pets and reptiles before meeting a bearded dragon. The swing-o-sauraus swingboat was also a huge hit - as was to be expected. As I was with a small child, the high ropes were out of our reach, but the Raptor Contraptor carousel brought a huge smile to my daughter's face as we flew through the air. Stepping out of the winding valley you are brought straight back into the modern day with a series of rides for all ages. There is even the opportunity to head up to a lookout to see if you can spot the T-Rex down below. The latest chapter in the dino's existence sees Steve, which is what the reptile was apparently named all this time, make the jump from an application to a widget that lives all over your home screen apps (on Android), or inside the notification center (on iOS).
The main problem you'll have is the little ones running off to catch a glimpse of all the creatures on display.
The walk offers you the chance to take a step back in time with 21 animatronic dinosaurs that roar and move as you go along. Once inside there is no shortage of attractions to enjoy, we headed right away to catch a glimpse of some of the pre-historic monster statues dotted around the site, before taking a journey through the Valley of The Dinosaurs.
